STRONGBUILD BUILDERS
Strongbuild is a design and construction company based in Berry, 2 hours south of Sydney on the south coast of New South Wales. Strongbuild is independently owned and run by partners Chris Francis and Jamie Strong and specialises in the creation of 'Classic Designs', classic country style homes, cottages and environments. The Strongbuild partnership was formed in January 2000 and holds a current NSW contractors licence including qualified supervisory licences necessary to construct residential and commercial projects in NSW. The Strongbuild build zone extends to Jamberoo in the north, Milton in the south and the Hume Highway in the Southern Highlands. Strongbuild operates out of its own custom workshop and administration complex at unit 2b Old Creamery Lane Berry NSW 2535. Contact Strongbuild.

CLASSIC DESIGNS
'Classic Designs' is a unique Strongbuild brand that features a streamlined method of designing and constructing quality classic country homes, cottages and environments without compromise. Strongbuild 'Classic Designs' incorporates traditional joinery and construction techniques combined with modern technology to create buildings that are generally considered too difficult, time consuming and too costly to build by the modern building industry. With Strongbuild 'Classic Designs' you can choose from an existing Strongbuild design, modify an existing Strongbuild design or start from scratch and create an entirely unique design of your own, with or without the help of an architect. Strongbuild offers a full 'in house' drafting service using a state of the art 3D modelling program that provides 3D images and floorplans of your design. It is also linked to a database system that provides an accurate costing of raw materials and so on. Ultimately it is possible to accurately estimate the final cost of labour and materials and to create an accurate building schedule. The system provides efficiency which ultimately translates into quality and value for money.

SPECIAL PROJECTS
As flexible and unique as the Strongbuild 'Classic Designs' system is, there are times when a client has a design that incorporates a different stylistic approach. Strongbuild is happy to work with like minded architects and designers and are always interested in tackling well designed, adventurous projects that suit the Strongbuild building style. Strongbuild's Archicad 3D modelling system is a Mac based architectural design program that allows you to design and construct a 3D virtual rendition of your planned Strongbuild Classic Designs home or cottage.
CUSTOM JOINERY WORKSHOP. (PLAY MOVIE)
Strongbuild has its own custom joinery workshop situated in Berry. The workshop is equipped with the latest Felder electronic woodworking machinery operated by a team of dedicated craftsmen. The machines are digitally calibrated providing extreme efficiency and accuracy. Set up times are cut to a minimum and quality of joinery is excellent.
The workshop allows Strongbuild to maintain total control over all aspects of detailed cabinetry work, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and so on. The entire catalogue of items available in the 'Classic Designs' range is created in the workshop and each individual piece linked to Strongbuild's Classic Designs 3D modelling program database. The result is speed and efficiency without compromising design or quality.
ABOUT BUILDCAM
Strongbuild Buildcam is an online audio visual coverage of an entire 'Classic Designs' design and build. The story begins with the purchase of an appropriate acreage and progresses through all design and construction stages to the finished product. The sequences will be narrated and presented by Strongbuild partners, Chris Francis and Jamie Strong and will provide a graphic insight into the design and construction methods adopted by Strongbuild in their 'Classic Designs' building system. The video posts will appear on this site under the Buildcam button as they are created during the key construction stages. THE PARTNERS
Strongbuild is privately owned by business partners Chris Francis and Jamie Strong. Chris and Jamie moved their respective families from Sydney to Berry in 2000 in search of a better lifestyle. Their combined passion for country living and classic country architecture inspired the design and construction of their own homes and has since developed into the 'Classic Designs business they feature today. Both partners are sensitive to the environment and proud of the potential long term effect their attitude to traditional country architecture will have on the landscape of the future. The lifestyles they have created for themselves is perfectly translated into their 'Classic Designs' brand.
